As promised, Cecil spent part of the evening baking a Pi Day pie for Chris and Rosy! While he didn't get quite as far as the other boy had asked with regard to the decimal places, he's happy with how the dessert (a sweet mixed berry pie) came out overall and he seems to be in good spirits when he shows up at the Coppertale camp shortly before curfew. The treat is tucked inside a slim green box tied with an orange string and Cecil offers it to his friend with a warm smile. Hopefully, he won't mind that it's arriving today instead of tomorrow. With classes back to back all morning tomorrow, now seemed better than later.
