Clementine Decourt
Clem's in a surprisingly chipper and laid-back mood this morning. She's been looking forward to these try-outs since the games were announced, and she's not too stressed about making the team... because it hasn't occurred to her that she might not make the team. She's full of herself like that.
She's having a good time and yells encouragement at her friends as they hit the pitch. She takes a good ten minutes to calm down and settle into what she's doing. Drills are not her favorite thing in the world, and Leo makes them do a lot of them in Ebonhide practice. She really hates repetition, and gets bored easily. The challenge of actually playing skilled, unpredictable opponents is what she enjoys most about Quidditch.
So even though she eventually buckles down and focuses, she's still riding the line between being serious and having fun. For the most part she still manages to complete the drills in a timely, efficient fashion. She's better at scoring than she is at passing, and then better at throwing passes than she is at catching them. She fumbles the ball a handful of times catching passes, and makes a few absolutely bullshit, barely-caught-that catches on top of that ("wow, you barely pulled that off" is her most received feedback, honestly).
She's still high-energy at lunch, and offers whoever's willing to sit with her comprehensive feedback on their individual tryouts. It's after lunch that her usual competitiveness kicks back in. Now there's winning to do.
