It will be fine. I promise. No one will think your parents are any reflection on you. After this year, you can leave home and never see them again. Think of this as the final trial.

So if they are coming, we need to deal with it. We can limit your time spent with them. Let them get caught up in rubbing elbows. Explain that you are focused on your studies, or in the middle of a stretch of your translation that you can't interrupt. If we win the talent show, we will arrange extra practices. If we don't, you should volunteer to help the stage crew as part of drama.
