That dress rehearsal was so good! (Except poor Riley getting hurt as she was KILLIN' IT up there) I'm really nervous about tomorrow, still. But mostly excited.

In news loosely related to dresses, am I the only one who has virtually NO idea what to wear???

i don't know anything about acting, but you've practiced really hard, right?? so that's all you can do. you'll be really good; i'm sure of it.

oh. i haven't thought about it much. i ruined my only suit for the halloween party, so i guess i should?? you always look pretty, though, so it shouldn't be hard to find a dress that makes you look pretty.

Oh no! You definitely should. Maybe one of the other boys has something you can borrow? If you want. You'll look good regardless.

And you're sweet to say that. I hope it's as easy as you say. I also kind of wish you were a dressmaker as well as a costume maker. Then I know it would be amazing. Sigh.

i don't regret it. costume parties are more fun and i'd rather wear the owlman than a normal suit anyway. but i guess i should ask. since i told micah i'd go.

maybe one of the other girls can help you too??

i've made regular clothes before too. i've made dresses. but i messed up coralee's titania dress somehow the first time. you probably don't want to rely on me for this. i don't want to mess up the dance for you.

Costume parties ARE fun, but I kind of like dressing up? It's just a change, you know? I'm glad you're going, though. Will you save a dance for me?

Oh have you? That's so cool! I'm sure you wouldn't mess it up and you definitely would be my first choice for someone to rely on, but it is really last minute. I wouldn't want to put you under that pressure with tomorrow coming up!

you do things without me all the time, though. and i don't think i'd be good at cheer. they're really loud and all that jumping around looks hard. i don't think i'd like it.

yeah. that makes sense, i guess. it's probably more fun for girls since there's so much variety in dresses and jewelry and makeup and everything. formal clothes for boys are pretty boring. now i'm curious to see what you and hazel come up with!! i'm sure it will be beautiful.

i wasn't planning to dance. is that ok??
