Dear Tabitha,

I know that the last few months have been hard for you. I also know that for good reason, I'm not your favorite person. But I miss you, and I have seen you looking less than happy a lot, and I hate being the cause of pain. I did something really terrible, and I hurt you in the process of my really really stupid decision. You've always been a good friend to me, and no one deserves how you were treated. I'm willing to do anything to try and come back together as friends. I know that you might still need more time. I'm also willing to wait as long as you need. But if you could find it in you to forgive me, I swear I will somehow atone for last year.

I miss your friendship. I know it's my fault, but I still miss it and I miss you.

Hey hey.

I think this is good. It doesn't spend too much time dwelling on the past, it's straightforward, and it's heartfelt.

"No one deserves how you were treated" should maybe be "no one deserves to be treated that way" or "no one deserves that kind of treatment" but that's just minor grammar stuff.
