It is never a fun day to be a prefect. And I say that as someone who loves being a prefect.

I should take a break, yes. I don't trust myself to not make more people cry today. But this is not the first time I have pushed someone to tears, and it will not be the last. The self-righteousness the prefects face whenever we dare enforce a rule is tired, and old, and selfish. I am [...] angry. They all knew what they were doing. They can't handle being caught with any grace. I am almost angrier that they are unwilling to face what they did, than I am at the action itself. ~~I wish~~

For what it's worth, you didn't say anything inappropriate. You're right. And you have every right to be angry. It's people thinking they have a right to do what they want without consequences. The world would teach them that's not how it works. You got there first, so they're complaining.I'm sorry you're the one stuck dealing with that.
