I STILL think all your polar bear plunge people are a BIT touched in the head, but I'm glad you didn't die, Jacob. I would have missed you, and also we'd probably mess up our relationship with Hogwarts, and that would just be a shame.

Also, Hector has developed a rivalry with the stuffed animal I got him as a companion. He apparently isn't a fan:

	I heard you the first time. You only need to (loudly) veto it once. What about something with bells? Sleigh bells could start ringing when it gets dark, or ring until someone looks directly at the tree and then start ringing again once they look away. (Reply to this) (Thread)

I like to make it very clear and in written format so I can go back and underline what we agree to. You have to admit it's a pretty safe plan.

Wow, the second one sounds really good, but like a tricky bit of magic. The bells would have to sense whether someone was looking at them or not. It could be really interesting, we'd just have to think about how it would be done. Sticking charms are no problem, even with the singing counter.

Obviously I like a challenge though.

I'm very respectful of your kissing phobia. I promise. I'm not going to sneak kissing into this and catch you off-guard.

We'll need to bring in someone who's good at Charms, since there would be a lot of them at work in that. But too many schemers leads to more avenues for this plan to leak out, so we might not want to outsource help. It's up to you.

Since I have nothing to do with this hypothetical situation that I know nothing about.

I wouldn't call it a phobia, more like an aversion and/or confusion and I feel like springing it on unsuspecting people after the amorentia disaster is just cruel. But I'm glad that you have gotten the message loud and clear.

That was what I figured. I think asking someone in a more off hand way who is good at charms about the theoretical underpinnings (how do you make a charm that depends on visual connection to a charmed object) would accomplish what we need. I think I know a few people I could ask, and they wouldn't be the wiser. Or probably wouldn't.

Ahh yes, you know nothing. You never ever do.

Which is why you're my favorite besides Vee.
