GUYS I MADE A FULL BODY PATRONUS!!!

It's a sand cat, and really cute yet fierce just like me. I'm proud as all get out.

In other news, I would officially like to invite anyone who needs some support during these tough winter months to join my unofficial I'm From A Warm Place And Can't Deal With Winter club.

I'm president, Frankie, you can be VP. Who else is in? We'll meet up to practice warming charms, drink the hottest possible hot chocolate and stare at pictures of the warm great places we're from.

Also ignore my fairy wings, they should be gone soon...

Vee

Sooooo...

Any movement on the boy who is totally not your boyfriend but you can't stop wearing his necklace and flirting and swooning yet?

CONGRATS, VICTORIA!

And what a perfect form for you :)

Thanks Cricket!

It amazes me sometimes how you just...know? Like your wand or you or something can just sense what is inside you and what fits for you.

Magic is really cool sometimes.

Right? I think sometimes we forget just how truly beautiful magic is. We just expect it to be there and never wonder why or how it all works. I'm not perfect certain what sort of wolf my patronus form is, but I feel deep in my gut that she's exactly right.

I might just be projecting and it's like, an overgrown cat, but I love it anyway and I'm so glad I could DO it. You try really hard at a thing and worry it won't work and then it does and it is the BEST feeling.

I could see you as a she-wolf. Very fitting.

I'M SO PROUD! You are the best!

I made one too. It was a dolphin. :)

WE ROCK.

Of course it was! Majestic and cute and smart, like you!

Vee/Vic

You didn't answer my question, missy.

And pretty close to a mermaid!!!

I wonder if someone could literally have a mermaid for a patronus, though.

Vee/Vic

No movement. It's the same! Which isn't bad, it's good. I think?

That's awesome! I have a sand cat as a familiar/pet! He's adorable and you'd probably get along I wager now that I know this.

YOU DO! Oh man, I need to meet him! I think they are really cute and I couldn't have been happier to have one as my patronus, so I'd love to meet the real thing.

I also just really love animals of all kinds really.

Mine was not so successful, sadly.

Thank you!!!

And if you want help practicing, I'd be happy to help. Now that I think I have the hang of it, at least.

Congratulations! Also, I'm not from a warm place, but can I join your club anyway? Because being cold is the worst.

Anyone who is having a hard time with the cold and its associated awfulness are welcome to our collective, and we humbly ask for you to share how on earth you survived a CASTLE in SCOTLAND for any length of time.

My methods were threefold: first, Hufflepuff's dorm is entirely underground, so it's very insulated; second, LOTS of blankets at all times; third, LOOOOOOOTS of tea.

You have my deep respect. Also what kind of tea?

I usually like Earl Grey, personally, but I'll drink herbal teas if they're around.

Earl Grey is nice, I like it with cream and sugar.

I really like oolong though. And maybe gunpowder too.

Thank you! I feel slightly vindicated because part of me totally knew I could do it and I practiced a lot and had done whispy ones, and part of me was like 'I don't know man, you're a Sophomore, get over yourself' so I'm glad the confident part of me won.

Take that, self doubt.

If you can back your confidence up with hard work, there is no reason whatsoever to feel any other way.

We're Coppertales, self doubt should never be in our vocabulary.

at least when it comes to school work...

I'm honestly pretty confident in everything with school, and now I'm even more confident.

Coppertale is obviously best.

You should be! That's really impressive spellwork.
