i designed a charm for the play and i've used it on myself (it works!) but i really need to practice it on other people to get it right. would anyone be willing to help? please??

OOC: Rather than creating physical wings for the faerie actors, Cole created a charm that projects light constructs mimicking a design that's drawn on the skin. How the wings look and move and behave will be determined by the nuances of the spellwork. It's...complicated. But that's why he needs to practice!

Unfortunately, he was so busy figuring out all of this that he forgot to figure out how to remove them. Whoops. I'll grab five or so volunteers if people are interested in this and they'll be stuck with lovely faux-wings for about twenty-four hours. Cole's sorry! ...but pretty happy with the results?

I'll describe the wings in Cole's responses. Feel free to complain, brag, or sigh with exasperation as appropriate! ♥ That'll teach your characters to help people.

Update: All good on volunteers. Thanks guys!

thanks laurel! i've got the design for oberon ready to go, so i'll try that on you. i hope you like them. can you come to ribbonfin?

OOC: Laurel's wings (like she requested!) resemble those of a dragonfly. The wings are mostly transparent, but the lining and the veins that give them shape glow gold. As light moves through them, they act like a prism and everything seems to shimmer in their wake.

	really? thanks calvin!! ~~i'll give you my favorite.~~ OOC: Calvin's wings are the set designed for Titania and mimic the properties of the Blue Morpho butterfly, whose wings are naturally irridescent and have a silvery-blue hue which seems to shine and change at different angles. OOC: Calvin is... actually awestruck, and since admitting Cole's a friend, Calvin's quick to hand out very serious compliments. He's nervous to say it, but he kind of loves wearing them? Ugh. Regardless of his weird guilt and embarrassment, he spends several minutes looking at himself in the mirror — something Calvin never does.

He's going to have completely different feelings when he realizes he has to go out in public like this.

	it's for the wings. for the faeries. i hope they're pretty? OOC: Riley's wings resemble those of a Paper Kite butterfly. They're smaller than Laurel's or Calvin's, because she isn't the king or queen of faerie!, but still quite elaborate. They glow softly and flutter daintily. (Reply to this) (Parent)

OOC: Hazel's wings were designed to look like those of the Madagascar Luna moth. At rest, long wingtips cross and almost reach the ground. Like Riley's they're smaller than those of the faerie king or queen, but still detailed. Creepily, the eyespots on the wings actually blink. What were you even doing, Cole?

OOC: Vic's wings resemble those of a cicada (Salvazana mirabilis if you want to get specific!).
