Why?: Beautiful but deadly, falcons are associated with victory, independence, freedom, and agility. These are all things Saira longs for.
Their happy memory: Getting accepted into Gooseberry all by herself, without help from anyone, including her parents, entirely on her own merit.
Their attempt: She is in Occlumency and she's Saira, so she's been able to do this for a while now. She will never stop practicing obsessively, though, and this is a good chance to show off her ability, which you know she loves.
