Patronus Form: Stingray
Why?: Because they look cool. Umm ok let me think. Stingrays are intelligent and curious, social but independent (many species group together in schools but stingrays don't pair bond). Micah's personality is very flamboyant, which is a contrast to the way rays camouflage themselves on the ocean floor, but that might just be a hint to how much Micah hides his true thoughts and feelings behind loud jokes and obnoxious behaviour.
Their happy memory: This is much harder than expected. All of Micah's happiest memories—at home, at school—are coloured by the loss of his brother. He tries to focus his thoughts on Gooseberry, the one place which serves as his "blank slate," and finally settles on watching Azurcrest win their games this year, and dancing with Ree, and how much fun he had during the interhouse snowball fight.
Their attempt: Micah went into this with a lot of pep, not really expecting to succeed. Really, all he wanted was to see what all of his friends' Patronuses would be, and spent more time chatting with people than concentrating on his own Patronus. He does buckle down eventually and make a serious attempt.
