Rafael Ramirez is a tyrant. ([info]firstposition) wrote in [info]gooseberry,
Rafael Ramirez
Name: Rafael Ramirez
Year: Senior
Patronus Form: Mojave Rattlesnake
Why?: Rattlesnake symbolism (versus general snake symbolism) is almost negative across the board, but not inappropriate for Rafael at his worst: Vengeance, aggression, defensiveness, etc. Rattlesnakes hold ground rather than retreat, and they give a clear warning before striking. Mojave rattlesnakes are the most venomous rattlesnakes in the world, and have a reputation for being especially aggressive even for a rattlesnake (... although they're actually not). They also do those cool snake poses which look kind of like a graceful dancer~
Their happy memory: A montage of the sensation and thrill of dancing usually works like a charm. If he's been in a bad mood or is stressed out, he lets these memories get tainted by thoughts of his injury. Luckily, he's been doing fine this week.
Their attempt: Rafael's been able to cast a patronus for a while now. As long as he hasn't lost his temper, his success rate is good. Things have been alright for him, even with the recent school-wide debacle, so he's able to show off his skills.
Are they in DADA or Occlumency?: Yes and yes.
