Love is in the air and Valentine's Day is fast approaching, and we all love shipping nonsense so, I mean, why beat around the bush? Use this meme to talk ships and romance and maybe you'll even find your characters a Valentine. 💘

What do they look for in a person?: Chloe doesn’t typically have the best luck in romance, because she mostly goes for anyone who is cute and who is remotely nice to her... even if it’s only surface-level nice. If they turned out to be not so nice later, she just internalized it as being her own fault and didn’t defend herself at all. Ideally, she likes people who are super enthusiastic about random/obscure interests like she is, even if they’re not the same, someone who will listen to her geek out about her interests and not be bored, someone who actually appreciates her as she is and doesn’t tell her what to do/how to be. She has mostly just felt like jerks who are sometimes nice were the best she could hope for.
What do they find romantic?: Aside from all the preposterous romantic tropes she has absorbed from fanfiction (#coffeshopau #collegeau #spaceoutlawsau #imagineyourotp), she really likes just hanging out, watching movies and eating snacks. Laughing at funny movies, crying at sad movies, snuggling at scary movies, all equally good. She likes sharing hobbies/interests, because even if she’s not into something, she can get super hype-by-proxy about the stuff people she’s close to are into. She thinks it’s super romantic when people remember little things you said and act on it later, like getting a funny card on a month old inside joke, or buying a perfume because you once said you liked the smell of something.
Who do they have a crush on?: Most of her crushes in life have been schrodinger's crushes, where if you never let them know, then they can simultaneously love you and hate and you just never open the box.
She started off this year with a crush on Riley, because Riley is a cute girl and complimented her and wanted to kiss her! Even though some of those comments were backhanded, and Riley was equally into kissing any other girl, Chloe didn’t/chose not to see that for a while, and had circumstances been different, Riley probably could have kept her dangling all year. She also had a bit of a crush on Diego for a while, because he’s a ~cool older boy~ who kissed her at party games and didn’t even look annoyed or disgusted! But she was also convinced he must secretly hate her/make fun of her.
Then A-Day happened, and it turned out there was a nice cute boy who liked her and had been there all along?!?!?!?!

What are they like in a relationship?: Sweet, enthusiastic, sentimental, possibly clingy. When she has a serious crush, she draws lots of fluffy pictures and writes lots of sappy stuff; in a relationship, she does the same, but then you get to see it. She likes to spend ~~all~~ a lot of time together, but is content to just hang out and do nothing. She frets easily that she is being annoying or embarrassing, and has to be assure that yes, they do still like her.
