ANNOUNCEMENTS: Feb 2

Deadline for Grotto party kissing games is tonight! Okay technically it was last night, but if you've got last minute signups or requests for characters you want to push together, then get them in now because we're putting together the list tonight. Sign up HERE.

Team Gooseberry cheer tryouts will be held on Thursday, February 16! Tryouts will only be open to characters who are currently on a cheer squad. This is going to be more RNG-based, but cheerleaders can improve their chances of making the team by a) being generally active in the game, and b) writing a journal entry or comment before the 16th which mentions they've been practicing for tryouts.

...I had other things to say but I can't remember what they are. I know there's a ton of things that need mod attention but if there's anything you really, really want a response for, just remind me here, please?

Okay so I have a legitimate question! I haven't posted my hiatus yet because I'm not sure if I'll look like an idiot for doing it early (and even though I'll be on legitimate activity-planned vacation, I'm going with friends who also RP so I'll still prolly be tagging and such).

If I'm going to be going out of town on the 16th, can Vee still try out? We all know cheerleading is her love and so she's definitely going to try out. She'd practice every day before hand and whatnot, just ON THAT DAY we'll be flying to California so I don't know if I'll get to the computer. (Maybe when we land) ;__;

First of all, you can absolutely post your hiatus early! If people hit up the Hiatus page then I'll always remember to keep it in mind when it comes time for AC that month, but I also scroll through posts on the ooc comm every month, so. THIS IS A LONG ANSWER YOU DIDN'T NEED. MOVING ON.

But yes, I figure we'll leave the post open for at least two days so everyone gets a chance to post to it? If you anticipate that posting on either the 16th or 17th will be a problem for you, then let us know before you leave and we'll figure out some way for Vee to be counted. :)

I saw the hiatus page but it seemed like nobody was doing it early and I didn't wanna look like a nerd but I also don't want to forget because THIS PLACE IS LIFE. So I will post it now just so I don't forget and to make your life easier!!! (I'm gonna do an OOC too obviously when the time comes) THIS ANSWER WAS PERFECT AND I LOVE YOU FOR IT

You guys are awesome. I should be able to tag it within those two days, but I'll definitely let you know otherwise! And like I could honestly really go two weeks without replying or posting AT ALL here, so. I'm sure I'm not even gonna need a hiatus for real. Lmao I may have a problem.

	WE LOVE YOU TOO But yeah for simplicity's sake, let's say it's common knowledge now! The cheerleaders learned about tryouts around the time the Quidditch players were having theirs, and yesterday is when Thorn let them know about the official date. (Reply to this) (Parent)
