ACTIVITY CHECK

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays!!! Because it's December, which is always a very busy time, everyone only needs to present one piece of activity per character. (If you have five characters, you must have two per character. Characters who are accepted after this point are exempt from AC.) The following activity counts:

First person journal posts

Third person logs/scenes (open scene or minimum 3 posts by your character)

A public IC/OOC post created by your character

Your character can also use one of the following for activity, but only if they were accepted before Dec 15. (If you have five characters or seeking the OK for a fifth, you can use two.)

A note, gift or letter/owl sent by your character. Any present posted on the December Gift Giving post counts for activity.

A comment thread with at least 10 comments by your character, not posted on your character's own journal post. It must be a single link, but branching threads count. This means, if you go to the bottom of a comment and copy the Thread link (e.g. ), and we are able to count 10 of your character's comments from your link, it counts.

A mostly prose scene in an IC/OOC post with a minimum of 3 comments by your character. Mods reserve the right to decide if your scene doesn't count as "mostly prose" or isn't developed enough to qualify.

Only activity posted from December 1–31 qualifies for AC.

Other notes and rules

You have until Saturday, December 31 at 11:59 PM MT to get this month's activity in, i.e. any posts from now until Jan 1 counts for activity. If you are unable to meet activity requirements, please check in anyway and we will grant your character(s) a strike. Provided it is not their third strike, you will be allowed to keep your character(s) for another month. Anyone who has not checked in for AC will be cut from the cast on Jan 1.

Reply to this comment with this month's activity if you want approval for a fourth or fifth character.

To qualify for a fourth character, you must pass AC with all three of your current characters, with two pieces of activity each, and not be on hiatus. Once you've gotten the OK from the mod account (i.e. we've acknowledged your AC comment), you may put in a hold for a fourth.

To qualify for a fifth character, you must provide a) three pieces of activity per character, and b) you may not have a single strike on your activity with any of your four characters for three months straight. Once you've gotten the OK for AC and your petition has been approved, you may put in a hold for a fifth.
