Hey everyone, it's Manx again. This time with Sun-mi Choi, Ribbonfin's other fairytale prince senior prefect. ~~shoujo sparkles inexplicably appear whenever Sun-mi and Ravi are together~~

UHM. HIGHLIGHTS.
+ Grew up on a family-run dragon reserve outside Mexico City. (I've left the family name open in case anyone wants to get in on dragon-y action with one of the Latinx kids on the cast list.)
+ Has been dancing ballet since she was a weester and does rigorous independent study under Ms. Thrussel's guidance.
+ Is super tight with Rafael who she's known forever. Also super tight with Ravi.
+ HAS NEVER BEEN IN LARP, but she knows all about your characters and all their associated drama. (Especially if it involved ~Ricardo~.)
+ Prefers to be Cool Big Sister prefect than rules enforcing Mom prefect. (She'll enforce them if she has to but she'll also be Very Disappointed that she has to?)
+ Is very Supportive and Encouraging of all your questionable decisions as long as they aren't blatantly against the rules or will cause physical harm.
+ Also kind of a cocky show off.
+ Extracurriculars are... Cheer, Drama, Duelling and Fencing, and Outdoor Education.
+ OH RIGHT. She loves cute girls. She loves to flirt and canoodle and sometimes briefly date cute girls. She dated Etta last year for a couple months (because hello shark wrestling lady, meet dragon wrangling lady) and dragged her on some obnoxious double dates with Rafael and Quinn, but neither of them were into the Serious Highschool Relationship thing.

I'll post over on the wanted lines thingy with something a bit more thoughtful, but I am definitely interested in some female friends and also v open to cute girls (that's all of you) who want any past stuff.

MORE CHEERLEADERS LIKE FINALLY.

Sun mi is Tabitha's prefect, Tabitha is Sun mi's captain. There's a balance there, and although Sunny is definitely a more dominant personality, I think they could respect each other? Dom and Joanna are my other prefects, and I think they'd like her well enough. Will doesn't know her but likes her well enough in theory.

AS FOR THE DORM, OOOH DIEGO YOU ARE SUCH A SHIT because in my head I see them all as having got on pretty well?

HOOBOY SO MUCH FOR PREFECTING BABY STEPS. For my own sanity, Sun-mi is going to be taking a lot of cues from Ravi during all of this and being SO THANKFUL Ribbonfin is such a well behaved house they don't have to worry about vigilantes and focusing more on student comfort and taking care of the home front.

Aaand I am definitely going to have rewrite this first post of hers now that was just like "Hello friends :)! :) :) :)"

~~and i was seriously like "omg marin really is going to ban me from the game" until i finally looked out of the meme post and was like "OHhhHHHhhHHhhh"~~

OK OK OK i am back after a million years and i have some incredibly long thoughts on this i'm sorry

Sun-mi is the sun and moon and stars to Ravi. I think this will be interesting dynamic because... Ravi tries not to let people see his worst flaws (well, he acts like his worst flaws are being "boring" and "serious," and not... putting WAY too much pressure on himself to be Ribbonfin's perfect knight in shining armour, and also repeatedly making poor romantic decisions in LARP) but I think Sun-mi is one of the very few people who can call bullshit on him. And tbh this is not something Ravi would admit to easily (he is VERY image conscious around even the senior Ribbonfins, who are his family) but I'd imagined Rafael as one of the people who figured out Ravi immediately, and Rafael and Sun-mi are too close for Rafael not to be like "ok but for real your friend Ravi is a ridiculous person." At least by mid-sophomore year, when they were co-prefects, Sun-mi probably knew there was a secret mess hiding behind that rule-abiding persona. And Ravi still won't admit to it easily, but there's probably some relief in not having to try so hard to be perfect around Sun-mi.

So! Prefects! I think Ravi's fine with Sun-mi being more of the Cool Big Sister. He doesn't mind people thinking he's too strict or too focused on rules, not when it'll protect people, and if he has to, he'll take the blame for having to tell someone no. But really, both Ravi and Sun-mi are pretty forgiving, so I doubt they ever butt heads on much? The Kurt and Chloe thing as an example. Ravi's going to say "no, we really shouldn't, it's against the rules" but so long as no one's getting hurt, he'll relent. He doesn't like taking points, but it doesn't bother him to look like the "disciplinarian" of the house. It would upset him if he ever felt like Sun-mi was undermining him, but I'm going to guess that won't happen much????

Aside from this, they definitely need to fence against each other and make some freshmen swoon. ;)

OK AS FOR THE REST OF MY CHILDREN

Mina thinks Sun-mi is... off-putting. IDK. Sun-mi being CONFIDENT and BEAUTIFUL and SMART and POPULAR and also distressingly prone to FLIRTING WITH GIRLS is going to set off Mina's instinct to HATE her. It's the same totally unsuspicious reason she hates Magdalen.

Sy's gonna flirt with her. The less serious the flirting, the better. And as usual, I give my disclaimer that Sy is a dick but he will accept rebuke from prefects a lot better than he would from anyone else.

Micah thinks Sun-mi is INCREDIBLY DREAMY and will be filming her during Duelling/Fencing. He doesn't even have to add shoujo sparkles to the video, they just appear on their own. Micah's also a kid who's going to need a prefect sometimes to tell him to cut it out but mostly his problem is being overexciteable and having a bad sense of boundaries :/

Sun-mi is all about terrible decisions and probably did not have a "Oh, I don't recognize you, you must be a freshmen, everyone will frown at me for kissing babies" filter last year... SO. YES OKAY. Maybe some makeouts happened at a party and later people were like "you know that's a freshmen..." and Sun-mi was just like "...so? She is very cute?"

Sun-mi also baaaarely makes the senior cutoff age-wise, so whatever. She will still totally flirt with you, Ree.

she probably doesn't give sun-mi too much trouble as a prefect, even though she does get up to mischief here and there, so! they probably do have that Cool Big Sister dynamic maybe. .-. um! i she and henrietta had a weird Moment in middle school (lol) so that's an object of amusement, i guess! :s i could also see zoey having a mild crush on sun-mi on and off (maybe more off now that they've been roomies Forever) but never truly acknowledging it because of the possibilities for weirdness, though she'd be down for some Casual Canoodling (tm)

laurel is in LARP, so sun-mi has probably heard of her shenanigans in that arena, and they could maybe be dance buddies! :D

Ahhh, with everything that happened as soon as I posted this, I've been neglectful of responses!!!

YES!! Laurel and Sun-mi should totally collab!!! ALSO, I think this only really came up while I was pestering Meggie about my app, but I imagine Ms. Thrussell is available for generally supervising any independent study dance activities that Laurel does also. Sun-mi and Rafael were recruited into the school specifically with promises of support for their dancing careers and I see Laurel was in childhood dance classes also, so maybe the three of them all did non-casual dance stuff together Freshmen year?

Sun-mi is all for making the worst possible decisions so she would be very open to anything with Zoey and I can see her flirting with all her roommates Freshmen year until she figured out who was not comfortable with all that. She would def Casually Canoodle (tm) with Zoey whenever she is interested. And like I said with Tabitha, she tries very hard to be friends to all her cabinmates and is very sad the cabin dynamic is struggling because of Diego.

AH, and I meant to reply on the wanted lines meme post, but Sun-mi would absolutely support and encourage Zoey breaking from parental expectations to follow her dreams. :) (I am going to assume Hightower made her prefect since he knows Ribbonfin needs a balance of sensibility and cutting loose.)

kurt is probably secretly starry-eyed and just like tell me a story about the dragons, ~~senpai~~ prefect sun-mi. especially since they share drama and OE. he might idolize her a teensy bit because dragon wrangling but obviously he's a shy guy, so it wouldn't show much.

quinn, though, HMMMMM. even if sun-mi's gay, quinn may have been secretly jealous of her just because of her long relationship with rafael. she probably realizes now that that was a dumb emotion to have, and may try to repair a bridge that she sees as burned, even if it wasn't. they have some classes together on top of being prefects, so they definitely interact but I DON'T KNOW YET HOW

Ahhh sorry Quinn, Sun-mi actually claims to be bisexual ~~JUST MAKING THIS WORSE~~. She also tried to flirt with Quinn heavily while she was dating Rafael because she thinks boosting Rafael's ego by getting rejected by his amors is a ladybro thing to do. IDK if she would realize at all that her relationship with Rafael would be a source of jealousy, though with ~Ricardo~ gone now and all eyes on Rafael, that maaay become more obvious. UHM EITHER WAY, Sun-mi is not a fan of ~Ricardo~ and wouldn't take offense if Quinn has been keeping her distance from Sun-mi since the break-up.

AHHHH SUN-MI sorry it took me an eternity to respond to this, I love Sun-mi and you so much.

Rafael adores Sun-mi, she is his dearest childhood friend and one of like... three people he even thinks about being vulnerable around. Although he's still in a constant state of I NEED NO HELP EVER. Also, re: Rafael's injury, I imagine it happened doing something that wasn't even that strenuous. He'd just been pushing himself too far and it popped and that was that. He probably dreamed as a kid of them dancing together forever in a prestigious company... and he says he's over that, but he's not really.

Diego ruined everything in your cabin, Sun-mi. He's really sorry. So sorry. Soooooo sorry.

Calvin is a baby Ribbonfin, and he has a huge, obvious crush on Ravi. I think he probably likes Sun-mi, but tends to assume she's JUST TOO COOL to ACTUALLY like him.

Hmmmm, she and Reid might not cross paths often. But he does need to be told to stop climbing things sometimes.

AHH, THERE ARE DRAGONS!

That pretty much sums up both my and Frankie's reactions. I imagine she still has moments of complete WONDER AND AMAZEMENT that dragons are actually really a thing. And that people wrangle them like the most extreme version of the Crocodile Hunter EVER. (Man, I just took a moment to be sad that going back to 2013 doesn't undead Steve Irwin. Man, that sucks.) It doesn't hurt that Sun-mi is awesome in general either.

Nia probably also has very impressed opinions on both dragons and dragon-wrangling - though they're probably less starry-eyed and more 'that's a fascinating job/oh no, she's hot.' But, also, she's a junior prefect! And in Outdoor Education.

Pippa needs a Cool Big Sister prefect to look out for her and gently guide her away from making terrible decisions should the need arise. She thinks Sun-mi is so cool! And very pretty! And probably gets a little starstruck around her, because I think Pippa needs an older girl to hero worship. She doesn't like the sound of dragon wrangling :( BUT she does appreciate that the reserve is to keep the Hebridean Black contained and separate from the native species.

Coralee will probably clash with Sun-mi, but I bet Coralee looks super hot in her cheerleading outfit so feel free to have Sun-mi have CONFLICTED FEELINGS haha.

And we've already talked about Etta and Sun-mi, but ahhh it sounds like they're going to be really good friends. I'M EXCITED TO HAVE THEM INTERACT. ♥

PS. The list said prefects who don't like prefecting, you never said anything about prefects who LOVE prefecting but are kind of terrible at it. ;) (If Sun-mi doesn't get tsked at by Ravi on a weekly basis, it's a failed week. She probably makes a point of knocking that off her weekly to-do list early on. Some things are too important to procrastinate on.)

LMAO YES IT'S TOTALLY FINE, I LOVE SUN-MI'S CONCEPT. We put that on the list mostly because... being a prefect is a privilege and a recognition of trust by the Head of House, and we wanted that reflected IC? Like, if someone doesn't like being a prefect, that badge really should go to someone else who would care, even if their judgment might be... more questionable, LOL. BUT RAVI HAS A LOT OF TRUST IN SUN-MI'S JUDGMENT juuuuust not romantically. God it's true that he should be protecting cute girls from Sun-mi instead of the other way around, but he's horribly biased ok :((((

This sounds like a brilliant plan. I think someone MAY have suggested asking Etta to Sun-mi but she's just like "well I want to spend the dance with her, but we aren't together and I don't want her to think I'm a clingy ex-girlfriend why is highschool so complicated :x"
