Aveline looked at herself in the mirror and did her best not to frown. She was one of those people who started showing early. And while it was good that she didn't look like she'd just overindulged in chocolates, she still felt fat. She just hoped that Angelina was right and she did have that glow people always talked about.
After braiding her hair, she grabbed her purse and headed towards the Leaky Cauldron. Little spots of rain got all over her shirt, so she opened up her umbrella and walked along.
Her stomach was turning as she neared the pub. She was feeling quite gun shy. She was on her way to ask this dude if he'd like some sex, but honestly, it was weird. She knew it was, but short of getting a gigolo, she didn't know what to do. This feeling was driving her up the wall.
Hopefully, she hadn't been so awful that first time that the very idea would repulse him. This was definitely a situation she never thought she'd be in.
Once she made it to the pub, she went crossed into Diagon Alley and headed for the agreed upon coffee shop. I can't do this, she thought as she opened the door to the place and looked around for Michael.
