She couldn't help but laugh as he dipped her, a grin breaking out on her lips. It was easy to forget what had happened, the history and the fact that he would forget her the moment this dance was over. The laugh was one he would know well, the free, breezy laugh of when she was comfortable, easy and joyous.
Dark eyes settled on him, pondering the question, or more just him. He was so close, the familiar scent of him cuddling around her, the feel of his body against hers and the fact he was close enough to kiss.
"No comment," she replied finally, the grin faltering a little. He didn't want kisses, just someone to warm the sheets with. "It isn't like you need to impress me, this isn't going to go beyond a dance." While the words themselves left no room for question her tone held...hope? hope that what she was saying was wrong, that it would go beyond a dance.
