"Its good to have you back, then," she said, a soft smile on her face. Maybe there was a chance he'd want to get together, talk about things. When she heard his question, she turned her eyes to the drink in her hands, not quite sure how to answer. The truth was too difficult to explain and would put a damper on the evening, and she didn't want to start off their reunion with a lie. "I've been better," she said honestly.
