Sophia, conversely, had been quite social in school and the events of that night back at Hogwarts hadn't been extremely unusual for her. That didn't mean that she hadn't enjoyed herself, though, or that she didn't occasionally think of that evening and the sweet boy she'd spent all of five minutes snogging before they'd been caught. It was hardly a tragic love story - or a love story of any kind, but Nate had only grown even more handsome since then and Sophia was really enjoying dancing with him now.
She managed to hide her disappointment when the song game to an end and he seemed to be saying goodbye for the moment. She knew it wasn't fair to monopolize him, but a part of her didn't wish for this moment to end.
"You will. Definitely," she promised him, smiled as his lips grazed her hand. It was such a simple gesture, but such a sweet one. She'd forgotten so much about him over time, but now that she'd encountered him again, she was not willing to let this be the last time she'd see him.
