"Well, of course it does," Angie teased in response, her smile wide. The song ended, and a new one began; Angie resigned herself to another dance with Warrington, though if she had to admit it, it wasn't exactly much of a sacrifice on her part. Not only did she have little intention of seeking a new dance partner just yet, she was actually enjoying herself. His half-smiles made her wonder if he ever truly smiled, and made her want to try to encourage one. It was such a 180 from how she used to respond to him, it left her almost disoriented.
She was in no hurry to leave. The conversation was interesting, as was Warrington, a fact that she couldn't get over. It was an unexpected turn of events, but after a few more dances, and another drink or two, Angie had decided that her evening was a success after all.
