"Maybe." Was it sexist to think that women were better judges of such of things, Neville wondered? If so, call him sexist.
"That's due to Gabby, not me. He's smitten with her, and vice versa." Dennis was mildly curious what Gabby thought of Rod. If it had been anyone else, Den realized he'd feel insecure if she fancied him. But as it was Rod, he had no fears of being thrown over for someone prettier and much more sophisticated.
Sometimes his brain was funny in that he didn't catch things until after, like things were said in reverse. Now was one of those moments, having dispensed with the issue of Neville (not remotely possible he wanted Dennis), it hit him what Rod had said, or wanted. "Um, am I bad or good for kinda wanting you to claim me?" He laughed and snuggled closer. "Nothing small about you, anyway, not evne gestures." Dennis slid onto Rod's lap. "And I am yours, anytime, anywhere, anyplace." He looked Rod in the eyes. "Only want you, only ever going to want you and to make you happy." But if they could do something? Cause Den needed, Rod made him needy for things he'd never considered before they met.
"No, no lies. Never think that." Now for political expediency, sometimes you did told the truth, just not the whole truth, but that was a different matter. "And I'm not offended, Not shocked even. Aside from thinking it's a fantasy that can fan the flames later for two of us?"
He still wanted to know how this all came about and just how deep Dennis had gotten in this, whatever it was with Rod. But as Dennis was halfway in Rod's lap, well that might have to wait a bit.
