"Ohayo, Yuuri!" Viktor chirped, because apparently he thought it was adorable to misuse Japanese to a Japanese person (Ohayo was technically correct but only really ever used early in the morning). He waved from his perch on the table as Makkachin trotted over with an enthusiastic greeting. Makka knew Yuuri well and adored him.
"Michelle and I were getting acquainted. Do you know she has a dragon, too? His name is George. You may not know this, but there's a young man from the Russian junior division who shares your name, except that Yuri in Russian translates to George. I was just thinking he would be pleased to learn that a dragon also shared his name."
