12 SUN	Campsite arrivals: the Robins family.
17 FRI	Campsite arrivals: the Lovegood family.
20 MON	Happy birthday, Cho Chang! Campsite arrivals: the Clearwater family.
21 TUE	Campsite arrivals: the Bundy family; the Smith family.
22 WED	Happy birthday, Kathryn Bundy!
23 THU	Campsite arrivals: the Capper family. Voldemort kills Frank Bryce.
24 FRI	Campsite arrivals: the Frobisher family; the Higgs family; the McLaggen family; the Spinnet family.
25 SAT	Campsite arrivals: the Weasley family (with Hermione Granger and Harry Potter); the Diggory family; the Dunstan family. Quidditch World Cup: Ireland vs Bulgaria. Bulgarian Seeker Viktor Krum catches the Snitch, but Ireland still wins, 170-160. Later that night a riot breaks out as a group of wizards dressed as Death Eaters attacks the tents of wizards and witches and torments the family of the Muggle responsible for one of the campsites. The commotion ends after the Dark Mark is sighted.

NOTE: In order to adjust the book dates to fit with the 2012 calendar, the events taking place in August 31 in the book were moved to September 1, with everything happening in the next couple of days also jumping a day in our timeline. The reason for this is that Sep 1 falls on a Saturday this year, meaning that students wouldn't be starting their classes on the very next day as it always happens in canon.

This plot post will remain public, but in the future all others will be locked. Also, we will accept suggestions for more events besides those dictated by canon to be featured in future posts.

	The Spinnets arrived on the 12th because Alicia's dad is writing about the run up to the world cup. The Dunstans arrive on the 25th because they can't leave the owls for very long. Apparently I like extremes. (Reply to this) (Thread)

	Hm, that's a good question. Since the trio got their results in mid-July in HBP (well, before Harry's birthday, anyway), I presume the same thing has happened in the previous years. Likewise, the letters with the booklists would have arrived in the first half of August as that's usually the norm. (Reply to this) (Parent)

	It's up to you, really. With the exception of dates specified in canon (which is basically the Weasleys, the Diggorys and the Lovegoods, really) all dates are flexible and depend only on how cheap the player expects their character's ticket to be. :) (Reply to this) (Parent) (Thread)
