Alex: I love how kind Kathryn is! It can be hard to get quiet characters involved in journal games, so it always makes me smile to see her pop up! Can't wait to see what your Angelina might be like!
Alison: I love that Barney always smiles except when someone cheats, and I love that he can make me want to read run-on sentences. I love the way that Lee appreciates women not just because they're pretty but because he thinks they're legitimately awesome, and cool, and interesting. I love that Yakov finds the silver-lining (aka, the food) in everything despite having every reason not to. And, damn girl, I love everything that Demelza chooses to be--feisty, political, feminist. I want to hang out with her.
Carrie: I love that Tamsin names the lambs and gets attached even when she knows she shouldn't since they're destined for the table (I used to do that growing up and it makes her so REAL to me)! I love that Lucy won't let anyone give her shit and that she always seems to know what she wants (and, on a superficial level, the gif on her app makes me laugh every time I see it). I love that Jules, he who hates everyone, has somehow ended up having two Gryffindor girls as friends and doesn't seem to mind that much, haha. And I love how fiercely loyal Sophie is to Elodie and how she seems so ready for fun at any moment--I can't wait to see more of her!
Crystal: I love that Audrey is unapologetic about being strong and ambitious and going after whatever (or whoever) she wants without hesitation. I love that Leanne always has a kind word for everyone and that she loves clothes & books (my two favorite things), and that she is so nice to Ava. I love that Alexa has a sense of humor--not everyone can take one of Elena's cracks and run with it! Can't wait for more of her as well!
Emily: Um, yeah, so, I love that Viktor is PERFECT? Basically. I am always so afraid to write heavily canon characters because I think I will mess them up, so I am in AWE of how well you are writing him. He's exactly how I remember him in the books except... better, more fleshed out. I just... more, please.
Heather: I love that Leon is so empathetic and cares about other people's feelings (like Trelawney's when no one else did), and I think that makes him a great Head Boy. I love Anais' "come at me, bro" sort of attitude--like, yeah, I'm going to post here and say my mother is a squib and I'm not going to act like that's a problem because it isn't. BOOM. I love that in about a minute Vicky can go from arguing with someone to giggling with them about predictions for the tasks and mocking Skeeter... and without acting superior or snarky or holding a grudge! I love Larissa's bluntness and the way she manages to handle certain overly emotional friends of hers with kindness, and good advice, and logic without getting too exasperated, haha. I love that Anzelm in an inherently good person and wants to do good for people, whether by becoming an Auror or dancing with girls who don't have dates for the ball... and that he puts up with Elena. I also quite like his arms!
Josie: I love Katie! Katie Bell was the first character I ever played and I usually judge other people's Katies super harshly because I'm a jerk that way, but I just ADORE YOURS. She is funny, and cute, and interesting, and layered, and YAY. Again, I say... more, please!
Julie: I love that Allegra is so dedicated to her friends and family and she's not afraid to say GIRLS CAN DO ANYTHING BOYS CAN DO, CORMAC, EVEN HUNT. I love the Cassius wants to be a good dude and, really, he is--look how he and Hamish have made things work as siblings, when lots of Slytherins in Cass' position might have really bullied the twin who would be perceived as "weaker". Also, it's nice that he doesn't just tell Amelia to take a hike when she acts like a crazy person.
Katie: You're another one who is ROCKING a canon-character in a way that I find SUPER AWESOME. Cho is cute, and sweet, and adorable, and nice, and lovely, and it makes total sense that Harry and Cedric would both think she was the bee's knees! And I love Ruby's subtle snark and the way she is always looking out for both Mel and Ava--she's awesome!
Lari: Marietta is so hard and you write her SO WELL. I love that I can totally see how the events of OotP will unfold with her, and I love that she is just such a TEENAGE GIRL full of insecurities and worries and nerves. More characters for you as well, please!
Millie: I love Terence because he is just such an unapologetic jackass sometimes (every school needs one), and he makes me laugh while doing it! And I love Cedric because he is everything that Cedric should be: good, and true, and loyal, and well-written ;)
Natasha: I love that Calvin reads poetry and is wordy as fuck but still manages to be a smirking, smug Slytherin who sets hearts all aflutter. It is frankly unfair to womankind. I also love that he is so good to his sister, even though she is obviously a humongous pain in the ass. I will badger you about more characters after your holiday :P
Patricia: I love that Hamish says "bampot" and that he is scared of girls but still seems cursed to have almost exclusively female friends... but he handles it with grace and kindness (and, dare I say, affection?)! I love that Samir is bouncy, and happy, and snuggly, even though a lot of things suck for him right now--can't let life keep you down! He's a great example of living life to the fullest with whatever cards you get dealt. And I love that Cormac is trying so hard not to be a jerk even though he has an entire fleet of women telling him he is one anyway. That's some serious Gryffindor tenacity, right there.
Sarah: I love that Samantha doles out discipline with that adorable smile on her face and is so dedicated to her duties! Seriously, I almost died laughing over her smiling icon and the "there will be no betting, please!" Poor thing, she's fighting a losing battle trying to make everyone behave but she's not giving up! And, yep, about time for another character from you too, I think!
Tessa: I love how biased, and loud, and stubborn, and loyal Ronnie is! Anyone who thinks all Hufflepuffs are sweetness and light (or, heaven forbid, boring) need look no further than the awesomeness that is Ronnie Whitaker to be proved wrong! Since you're new, I won't bother you about more characters. Yet!
