Today was a hot one, but Roxy didn't mind. The sunshine through the clouds was welcome as she tended to her garden, however, and a smile kept on her face as she pruned away her growing seedlings. This had been a great idea and one they were already reaping the benefits of. Fresh veggies were sooo much better when cared for with love, in her own opinion, and she had nothing but time during the days to care for her plants with every ounce of detail she could muster. No leaf out of place, no vine tangled, no straggling branch sucking nutrients out of her beautiful little edibles. There was joy in every pluck, prune, and nudge in the proper direction.
Until her favorite sheers snapped apart.
A pout fell upon her face. Well, this just wouldn't do her any good, and she still had her turnips to tend to. Time to look for help. Gathering the two pieces, and a stop at home to pick one of her prized flowers from the windowsill, she set off through the streets for a friendly face. It seemed no one had time today, however. Hmph. Seeing the bay doors open to the garage, she wandered blinkingly as she looked around. A shock of blonde caught her eye as she stepped closer with a bright smile, clearing her throat so as to not scare the girl. "Hi! I'm sorry if I'm bothering you - I'm Roxy, and I was wondering if you have a minute to maybe take a look at this. My sheers broke... I think I just need a screw back through to stick them back together, would you happen to have a spare?" A pause as she shifted her broken equipment to one hand, bright and blooming flower showcased in the other and was extended as her smile grew. "I have this for you, if you'd like it. It just needs water and a little cup of dirt, it should continue growing though." Her tone remained friendly as a puppy, and her demeanor as well. That always helped in new situations.
