Darcy barely realized that her horns were getting longer, though she did know feel them finally disappear. She reached up to make sure that he hadn't done something else, but looked fairly satisfied that they were gone. At least the horns hadn't come with a power to make people tell her the truth like in that movie. That would have sucked.
Yeah. He liked more waffles. She was pride. "That's usually the way things are," she offered with a shrug of her shoulders. Yeah complicated was definitely the word for it. Though she felt slightly better that Bruce was around and could put the smack down on Loki if necessary, that didn't mean that she felt safe. Or that she trusted Bruce to do it. The Hulk was even more unpredictable than he was. Except to smash things.
She was never going to expect apologies from him. Not for anything. She didn't expect him to be capable of that kind of emotion. Then again she didn't know him very well. "Uh.." she offered and sat back to think about his question. It meant stuffing more waffles into her face, and then drinking a bunch more coffee.
Then eventually she glanced back up at him. "Well I'm obviously against you going around killing people for a lot of reasons. I'm not going to sit here and tell you how amazing people are and how much you should save them. It's a lot of people. Some of them are shitty. Though I don't think anyone deserves to die, no matter what they've done. And I'm not going to beg you or even ask. That's not on me. You do that. That's all on you. Your decisions. No one elses."
