That face was totally worth it. She knew that she was going to get a lot of shit for it, but he had started it. Darcy couldn't exactly pay him back or make him ugly himself. She waited impatiently for another smart ass comment, but it didn't come right away. They were both busy stuffing their faces full of waffles. Or at least she was.
She reached up to see if the horns were gone, but they weren't. Eh. She'd remind him of it later.
Her eyebrows raised as she watched him eat his waffles. Well. It wasn't totally awful. Not that she'd ever get him to admit he liked anything. "Honestly? You're the only person I.. even sort of know? Even if we've never met. I don't trust those SHIELD people. And I'm not even sure I trust the rest of the Avengers. I care about self preservation."
Taking another bite of waffle, she thankfully finished chewing before piping up. "I just wanted to see you face to face. And if you come after me, you'd probably get a huge smack down by the Hulk. Hopefully you have some self preservation too."
