Re: 5PM-6PM Kurt & Blaine Show Up/Party Begins
Blaine was just a tad bit nervous. He was absolutely surprised that everyone had been able to keep this party a secret from Kurt for the last two weeks. Not even that rat Jacob Ben Israel had caught wind of it - and lucky for that because Blaine had no doubt the little jerk would have used it as some form of blackmail against him.
Last night, Blaine had taken Kurt to see Transformers while Carole and Finn and Rachel had spent the evening preparing the food for today. Blaine was pretty much spending the whole weekend at the Hummel's, so he got to help out in attempting to keep Kurt from going anywhere near the refrigerator the rest of the evening, and this morning until Kurt left for work. Right after he left, Blaine, Finn and Rachel had frantically ran to the theater to begin putting up decorations. Then there had been coordinating getting Finn his outfit, and Carole and Burt somehow into their costumes and gone, so Blaine was left trying to distract Kurt further, which ended in him going to surprise Kurt at work to pick him up. He'd told him he had errands to run, and ended up wasting time buying stamps he didn't need, dropping a jacket off at the cleaners that had been in his car for about six months, and wandering the aisles of the drug store for an hour before deciding on a new hair gel.
Blaine figured it was just about time to head back to the Hummel's when he found Kurt tapping his foot.
They spent the time between 3PM-5PM getting ready... or rather, making out in the house that was completely empty except for them, and then getting ready. Blaine chose to wear Captain Von Trapp's tux from the party in the movie. Complete with white gloves and medals. He thought he looked pretty dashing, if he said so himself.
Once they were on their way to the Revival Theater, he grew quiet, going over everything in his head, trying to figure out how to get Kurt's gifts in without Kurt seeing them. The only thing he could think to do was leave them in the trunk and get them after Kurt was inside. He didn't want to ruin the surprise at all.
Glancing over at his boyfriend, Blaine offered him a fond smile. "Looking forward to the sing-a-long?"
