Finn was definitely down for a party. School was drawing nearer, and the thought of having to go back to classes just wasn't appealing at all. There were good things to look forward to, of course. Like Glee and the fact that he and Rachel were together, not to mention a new football season. All of that didn't make up for the early mornings and boring lectures, however. So Finn was glad for the distraction from that looming thought. He was also happy to get out and spend some time with Rachel, since Jesse's return had been on his mind for awhile. He'd never admit that out loud, though, but it was annoying to have that jerk trying to talk to his girlfriend. Unfortunately, Finn wasn't controlling or over-confident enough to ensure it didn't happen. He didn't want to control Rachel.
He was happy when she agreed to go to the party. It was a celebration for Chase so Finn felt he had to attend, but sometimes girls could be weird about that kind of stuff. Luckily Rachel felt up to it, so he offered to pick her up so they could get there at the same time. Once they made it, he gave her a smile as they entered Trevor's house, holding her hand as if making a statement. "Ready to have some fun?" he asked her, though he was pretty sure he knew the answer.
