Kurt watched Matt with new found appreciation. This was probably the most he'd ever heard the jock speak, and he was surprisingly eloquent. Maybe this one could actually read, which was more than could be said of Puck, or Finn for that matter. Finn was hot, but he wasn't exactly smart.
Kurt gave Matt a small smile, and then glanced at Puck with a brow raised. "Leave then," he said, crossing his arms over his chest. "Get on with your plans," he made air-quotes around the word. "I'm sure Rachel won't make it a point to call you everyday, or show up when you're cleaning pools. And even if she does, I'm sure the ladies you work for won't mind a young, pretty girl hanging around." He kept his gaze steady on Puck, wondering if the football player was clever enough to get what he was implying. His cougar business wouldn't get very far, if a lithe sixteen year old was hanging around all the time, trying to convince Puck to come back to Glee Club.
"Just think, how much more pleasant your summer will be, if you help us come up with a schedule for Glee, that will leave you with the maximum amount of time for pool cleaning." It was sort of unfortunate that after Artie, Puck was their strongest male singer, and they really needed him for Glee Club to work. He didn't count Finn, who looked good but was pretty much a one-note performer.
