He'd learned over the past nine months that it was best to just let Rachel finish her grand speeches before taking control of the conversation. He looked over the schedule she presented him with, and sighed. She had New Directions practicing almost everyday, for the entire summer.
"Rachel," he said, leaning against his desk. He set the paper beside him. "It's summer. Some of your teammates have jobs, not to mention other responsibilities to their families. The club would need a new practice area. The school is not open to student clubs during the summer, Rachel."
He glanced at Finn, thinking the boy looked like he'd just chewed some nails. "All right, we'll have a meeting and together, as a group, we'll figure out a few practice times for this month. And Rachel, you're going to need to understand that not everyone is going to be able to make all rehearsals."
