There is a bill which is of interest to trans people who were born in California that is being considered by Governor Schwarzenegger. It basically would allow people who were born in California to have their birth certificates reissued in the county they were born in to reflect their reassigned gender, even if they currently reside in another state. This would be immensely helpful to people who were born in California but moved to another state where changing the gender marker on your ID requires a new/amended birth certificate.
