Who: Felicia & OPEN
What: Annoyed with people, Fel celebrates Father's Day her own way - by pulling a heist in the city, in one of Wilson Fisk's private collections, for her father's memory.
Where: campus
When: Monday night
By the time Felicia made it back onto campus, she was bordering on actual exhaustion. She'd been casing the place for at least a month before she'd made her final selection. Something Fisk would notice missing but not be able to report missing to the police. Something important. Perfect. She wanted to make him realize that he wasn't as untouchable as he thought he was and she wanted him to question who was the person behind it. The Black Cat was a well known entity in New York City (and a few other places around the world) but ultimately, she knew that even if he suspected, even he couldn't prove it. It had gone off perfectly. It was late when she pulled her car into the space back on campus and gathered the discreet black duffel from the backseat of her car. It wasn't like she was about to go around advertising her costume on campus. Unlike a number of students, she wasn't going to give up her secret identity or past to just anyone. The addition of the ornate Qing Dynasty vase tucked in the bag, bundled next to the sleek black leather costume she had been wearing earlier int he evening. Right now, she was dressed far more casually in a pair of black yoga pants and a tank top beneath a slim black hoodie. Not quite suspicious looking considering it was a college campus but not up to her normal scale of fashion, either. She couldn't shake the annoyance over that girl on the network, talking about how Fisk had ruined her life. As if she were special or unique in that regard. As if someone should have given her a cookie for bringing attention to him. It shouldn't matter. She'd gotten what she came for and this would make a fitting Father's Day present for Thomas Hardy's grave when she next visited it. No one would even recognize it once she filled it with flowers. Felicia was considering the options for decorations and didn't notice that she was no longer alone as she approached her dorm - at least not until someone caught her eye. Who else was out this late? |
