Hey there everyone!
Okay so here is the deal. I love this concept way too much to just give up on it, especially when several of you have expressed interest in keeping it alive. Thus, I'm going to do my best to revive it. Real life has gotten super hectic for me, but is slowing down and I'm going to do my best to keep this place going..just bare with me! I will do my best to let you all know when I'm going to be MIA and I urge you to please, please do the same! Things up come, I COMPLETELY understand, but since we are such a small group its hard if we all go MIA at the same time and nooo one says anything!
So heres whats going to happen. Even though I know some of you are still checking this place for updates, I'm going to comment everyone on their journals as well, just to be fair. I need EVERYONE who still wishes to be a part of the SL to comment THIS post and let me know. If you feel you do not have the time to participate right now or if you need a hiatus PLEASE let me know. If I don't hear from you in three days, you'll be removed from the SL and your spot will be open for others to pick up. If you need a hiatus, please make it clear when you'll be available again!
Since I sort of failed at doing activity checks and obviously everyone is behind in keeping up with that, we're going to start fresh with those. (no, we're not re-starting the SL..just the point at which RP checks are done!) Thus that means you all have one week to post something! Since its been awhile these must be all new threads/logs. I may even throw up a few random, general scenes to get things going in which anyone can respond to. The next activity check will be JULY 3, 2010
Also, just a side note..but I DO encourage you all to RP with as many of the family members as possible! Especially Nova! Its also important to take part in family scenes such as birthdays, holidays, family dinners etc. Please remember that while everyone DOES have their own IC drama going on, the SL is still centered around the fact that Nova was given custody of the youngsters and not everyone is happy about it. Its important to remember this is still very new and will definitely effect the characters! Things are not going to work themselves out over night and thus its important to play everything out. I'd also like to ask that from here on out any MAJOR plot lines be run by me first. I love the drama as much as the next person but we've already got quite a bit going on and so I'd like to space things out a bit!

Hello everyone!
Okay so I want to appologize for going MIA on you guys this past week! Things got rather hectic for me (which is actually the understatement of the year!)
That being said things are slowing down a bit and I just wanted to take a second to let you all know I'm still here! I'm going to push the activity check until Tuesday, June 22nd. Here is hoping you all haven't given up on me! I really want to get things going again and strongly encourage everyone to throw up some scenes!
I'll be back in a bit with an activity check list!

Okay so I'm sorry I've been a sad flakish the past few days! I've recently learned they're terminating my position as of july 1st so i've been scrambling to find another job and its stupid and stressful >.< I'll do my best to reply to everyone I haven't and maybe throw up some more threads tomorrow when I get to work ; )

The following people need to link me to a scene ASAP -- if you need a little extra time, just let me know! Remember, AIM logs are fine too as long as its a RP log (IC aim chats dont count : )

I know I've been MIA for a few days. My sick got... sicker, and I was stuck in bed for a while. Then when I got better there was some real life stuff to catch up on. But no excuses. Excuses are dumb. Hullo everyone! Okay so I was going to be all fancy and make up a IC invitation on my computer...but seeing as I'm at work and will more then likley be in bed within the hour (and probably much too busy/lazy to do it tomorrow xD) I figured i'd just throw up and OOC note to let you all know whats going on.
SO!
Kenny and Lucys girls' are celebrating their 9th and 11th birthdays this week, thus a huge party is in order. A huge birthday bash at well..that part i'm unsure of xD HEY L, WHERE ARE YOU HELP ME OUT HERE.
Anyway, there will be a party for the girls at a place yet to be determined, on Friday. Everyone is obviously invited..since everyone is close enough to the Pierce family to recieve an invite..: )
I'll throw up a thread thursday night to get things started! |

Hey all. :) I'm very likely going to bring this fellow in as rials (Reilly Pierces's) hubby, but I thought I'd post and see what else is going on. Jake Walter Mitchell is a thirty-five year old chain smoking Medical Examiner. He's a workaholic that's a bit on the serious side, but has a dorky streak a mile wide, and he's not opposed to being reminded to slow down and relax every now and again. I'll be working out more details with rials soon, but I'm happy to get some other connections going if people are keen. |

So I realized that I hadn't actually given a layout of the Sugar Hill Inn/Pierce house. I think eventually I might attempt to draw up a layout, but for now I figured I just got ahead and describe things for everyone so that we're all on the same page!
I figured that as far as the Inn/families living quarters was the 'house' is kind of divided. The families living quarters are on a separate side then the guest rooms, if that makes sense. They also have a separate kitchen, living room and bathrooms then the guest portion of the Inn. As for the bedrooms, there are a total of four with the room 'assignments' as follows.
PIERCE FAMILY LIVING AREA:
Living Room
Dining room
Kitchen
Laundry room
1 Bathroom
Master bedroom/bathroom: Nova (previously their mothers room)
Room#1: Tristan
Room#2: Jadeyn & Jacobi
Room#3: Jennifer & Gracie
Basement: Kenny
NOTE: the basement apartment has two bedrooms, a bathroom, an office, livingroom and small kitchen.

Hello!! I hope everyone had a great weekend and is having a good Holiday! First off, please welcome ~trispier & ~ameliamarie!
I had mentioned before that the next activity check/removals were going to be done Tuesday, June 1st..which is tomorrow. I've decided to push it back a day, since I'm guessing everyone was probably decently busy what with the Holiday weekend. If anyone needs an extension, all you have to do is ask! I just need to know that you are HERE, still interested and actively working on keeping ACTIVE! : )
That being said, I went ahead and compiled a list of those of you who need to direct me to a scene (AIM or thread..sorry but IC AIM chats dont count!) by WEDNESDAY JUNE 2nd! That would be.. ~rials, ~lifeisgrand and ~pellitier. Those of you that only recently joined within the last few days, dont worry, you won't be counted this time!
