Yes, it's a wild Stephanie! I return to you from the land of nursing school! It's a magical land where all we do is talk to each other and change diapers and have skills drilled into us like it's going out of style! Aka, I'm back for 6 weeks and then I disappear again x_x That's cool, right?
Anywho, I'd love to catch up with all of y'all. I never see anyone on aim any more :(!! But if I'm on, feel free to ping me! All of the new people? Hi! I'm Stephanie! 1. Ariella is officially dead. Passed away on Monday, December 17th around 7pm. Feel free to react however.
2. I'm totally down for backstorying shit. Seriously, just ask. I'm home, not working, not going to school, and doing nothing for SIX WEEKS.

It is the end of a really long semester for me (first one after two years off!) and so, I'm hustling to ger papers written and take tests! On the upside, it's over on Saturday, on the downside, it's the holidays... But, I'll have a bunch of time off, so, I'll try and be around for stuff! I am NOT going on hiatus. But I will be a little scarce, if you haven't noticed. =[
I have a friend visiting, and then I'm going home for Christmas for a week on Thursday (which includes a drive from DC to Massachusetts, not fun). I've been working my ass off for the past week to have enough money to be able to take a week long vacation, which is why I haven't been around.
HOWEVER. I will be around a lot when I'm home, because I'm usually the last one in bed at night, and we'll have lots of down time between parties.
I remember all the threads I'm in and where my tags go, plus all the threads I'm SUPPOSED to do (mainly, the Tino/Dawn one that I really want to do, the Josie/Ward one that's been long in the making, and the Elliot/Jack one; plus, I need to tag my characters into Jaden's party thread). If there's any other threads you would like to start/finish with me, let me know. I will be down for all of them.
Anywho, I hope you don't hate me for being fail. I miss you guys and all of our characters. See you soon! (Hopefully tomorrow night!)

Hey guys, I want to apologize for being so nonexistent lately, like Sidera, I think it'd be best if I went on a hiatus until after Christmas too. I've just been completely incapable of writing or doing much of anything but sitting and staring blankly at the computer while the hours fly by. It's gotten to the point where my eyes feel tired all the time and everything is fuzzy around the edges due to eye strain. So I think avoiding the computer for a while will be good for me to get up and get other things done. I might pop in here and there to have Mao comment to public forum entries or something, though.
I'll probably still leave my AIM up, and you can always contact me on my journal if you need me!

Hey guys, it's Lindsey with character number...eight I think, but number four if you just count the ones not on the NPC list currently. This is the character that has been poking at me in my head for a LONG time. But anywhoooo....
This here is Rayne Ackermann, she's 23 and works as a freelance photographer. Her parent's were two of the original nine patients and they were the kids of two of the larger benefactors of the Project. I could try to summarize the whole twisty, corrupt rich family, dramarama, but it's all in her profile ![[info]](https://www.insanejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) silent_siren. Her backstory is like a novel but it kind of explains why she is the way she is. Her power is Siren Song, which means she can hypnotize people with just the sound of her voice. Since a young age she had been trained and learned what octave her voice had to go to to not make her power activate. It's a lower octave but if any of you know that if you talk in a lower or higher octave than normal for a long period of time your throat hurts. So because of that she doesn't talk...like...ever. She only talks when it's necessary. In the journals and through texts, she'll be fine, but in person she will just not talk. She will smile politely and listen...but besides that like hand motions and so on will be how she communicates. Because her family is so f-ed up she is sort of starved for human contact and if she ends up letting someone in, like ends up trusting them she throws her whole heart into it and will do pretty much anything to keep them. She does sound like a mopey sadface girl, but she's actually usually smily and happy, confusing but yes, she doesn't try to drag others down with her. I could go on and on, but really your best option is to read her profile, it's all in there and I do apologize how long it is.
Also she does have a brother...he's about four years older than her and in my head he's sort of like the Prince Harry of the family. He ends up in trouble often and most of the time he usually doesn't really even mean to do anything wrong or offensive. But he's always there for his sister and he's the only member of her family who she honestly and truly trusts. She does love her mother and her father and her grandfather, but her brother is the only one who she tells...or writes all her thoughts to.
But yeah gimmie plots! I would love for her to have potential future friends, she will try to be as distant as possible though. Also people who might sort of pester her to talk when she doesn't wan to. Most of all I REALLY want a sort of bad news guy to sort of take an interest in her. Nothing serious, just like a really messed up friendship that could evolve into a friends with benefits situation. And possibly more if it seems to work or whateves.

Because I think shit like this is interesting, what Myers Briggs Indicators would y'all give your characters?
I'm thinking: As counterintuitive as it seems, I think Noah is INFJ: the Protector. (tl;dr: "Quietly forceful, original, and sensitive. Tend to stick to things until they are done. Extremely intuitive about people, and concerned for their feelings. Well-developed value systems which they strictly adhere to. Well-respected for their perserverence in doing the right thing. Likely to be individualistic, rather than leading or following.")
I'd categorize Ariel as ENFJ: the Giver. (tl;dr: "Popular and sensitive, with outstanding people skills. Externally focused, with real concern for how others think and feel. Usually dislike being alone. They see everything from the human angle, and dislike impersonal analysis. Very effective at managing people issues, and leading group discussions. Interested in serving others, and probably place the needs of others over their own needs.") (Or maybe ESFP: the Performer?)
Scout is difficult. Maybe ESTP: the Doer, minus the "friendly" parts... (tl;dr: "Friendly, adaptable, action-oriented. "Doers" who are focused on immediate results.
