They say bad news cures all things. I wouldn't be too sure about that. All bad news does is make you realize what life is really all about. That it doesn't matter how good things are for a while. Everything is always going to go to hell eventually. Take... a mechanic. For example. A mechanic works on cars all day, every day. The same cars over and over again. They work for a little while, but eventually, they are so messed up from the wear and tear that there's no point in continuing to fix them. So, what did the mechanic actually do? Prolong the car's life for a little while longer? Save the owner any money? Cure cancer? Nope. He just put a bandaid on a mortal wound.

And it will bleed on and on no matter what.

Sixteen years later... feels like it was only yesterday.

While I love this city for the fact that there is always something to do no matter what time of day you might be up (though there are areas I would suggest avoiding after midnight), it also makes it difficult to get any good sleep either. You always feel like you might be missing something.

What exactly does one write in a letter to one's biological parents?

Apparently they suggested I add in a letter to go with their official "your daughter would like to meet you, are you okay with us releasing your names, check yes or no" letter. Nothing really identifying, but somehow I don't think "why did you give me uuuuuuup? ;.;" will go over very well. I'm curious on that point, but not enough to use it as a selling point.

Finally finished getting that thin layer of sand out of the crevice of a Rahonavis's claw. Or at least I think it's a Rahonavis. Could be a Velociraptor claw, but I'm almost sure it's not. V-raptors aren't as common in Madagascar as the Rahonavis. Then, I've been wrong before, just I've got a good inkling about this one.

Feel free to stop me whenever this gets boring for any of you. Oh wait, here comes to the fun part.
