Penny's eyes widened with shock, not at the decent gesture that Calvin was so graciously performing for her, but at the fact that he was carrying her laptop. She knew he didn't have x-ray vision (nor had she found anyone with that ability yet) and couldn't see into her hard drive. Still, the idea that he was so close to opening all her files made her lose her breath a little.
She followed him into the classroom, a bit winded, and struggling to find her inhaler inside her bookbag. She brushed aside her adrenaline shot and her English textbook until she was able to wrap her fingers around her inhaler and pull it out. After two decent puffs, Penny could breathe a little bit better, though she still felt as if her throat was about to close up on her any minute now. "Th-thank you. Calvin." She slowly walked over and looked down at her laptop. "You... really didn't have to do that."
