Penny nodded slowly and managed to dab her nose all right. The tissue was crumbled in her hand for disposal later. It was horrible to not only have these allergies but to have to put people through the ordeal of watching her try not to die. "I'm.... okay." It wasn't true. Not by a long shot. She was sick, but then, she was always sick. So, it wasn't anything new. Then, she was also shy, and even though she knew Calvin was a nice person, she still couldn't help but feel intimidated by talking to him.
"I'll.... I'll be okay. How... uhm... how are you?" It was a pretty pathetic attempt at conversation, but Penny was really trying here. She glanced at her watch and realized it was about time to start getting ready to go to class. Now, how on earth was she going to stand up from this floor? She frowned and looked around, finally grabbing a hold of the edge of a board and slowly pulling herself up to a standing position. Only thing was, she forgot to bring up her books and laptop with her when she stood.
