Everything was going perfectly. She'd gotten the promotion she'd wanted, she'd found herself a new apartment and gotten the landlord to lower rent a couple hundred dollars a month because he was a friend of her boss. It hadn't taken her long to move out of her old place. Packing had been a pain in the rear but it was worth it. It was all worth it. All that was left to do was move all of her things into the new apartment and unpack. Then, the world would be her oyster.
Right now, she was running a little late. The moving men had been waiting as she finished up a phone call with a potential client. She'd hung up, slightly annoyed, and rushed downstairs toward the front door. The men looked a little bit more impatient than she had only moments before. She sighed, blew her bangs out of her face and pulled her hands out of her pocket, ready to help out. "Yeah, I'm ready. I'm Juliet." She held a hand out to shake. "You must be...Noah?"
