Masculinity was not the first word thing that came to mind for most when thinking ofAaron Lavigne, most likely. And really, he was alright with that. He knew about hair, and clothes, he did art, he was sort of tall and gangly (more like a runner, less like a basketball player, that was for sure), and didn't go around shoving people around in the halls at school, just because he could.
