Adorable.
Ariel had yet to reach drunk city himself. He was teetering on tipsy at the moment, but there was no doubt that he would eventually make his appearance. The boy smiled up at Wes, though he could tell the football player was several drinks ahead of him. It didn't bother him. In fact, he was kind of glad - not because Ariel only liked to get it with drunk high schoolers or anything, but because of the next words that came out of the other boy's mouth.
Sometimes all it took was a little loosening up. He didn't know if it was the alcohol talking, or if maybe Wes had managed to come out, but at the moment, he wasn't too preoccupied with the details. No. Instead, he took a drink from his cup as he circled to stand in front of the other boy.
"Says the tall, blond football player," replied Ariel with a grin. He stood at a respectable distance, but they were definitely closer than two boys who were friends. "Are you having a good time?"
