She could have laughed out loud. Actually, was that... yes. That was the sound of laughter. She waslaughing. It was just hilarious to her. Here he was complaining that she had her mind made up about him, when he was guilty of the exact same thing. And he was a smart guy. How the irony was lost on him, she'd never understand. But she just couldn't help it. It was funny.
She didn't bother with an explanation though. Aaron was off with some ramble, talking about how he didn't care. It was useless. Rielle wasn't going to make her point to someone so stubborn. It was easier just to give up at the moment. She didn't want to. It was eating her up inside that he couldn't and wouldn't just accept her for who she was. But she couldn't necessarily do anything about it now. Instead, she remained quiet, save the occasional giggle (because hey, she was still drunk) and dramatic sigh.
That is, until he asked a question.
To which, she replied with a single, "obviously." After a moment of silence, she raised her eyebrows. "I thought you didn't care?"
