This was her party. She'd been the one to tell him that they could still remain friends after the subway trip. And he'd been the one to be weird about it. "Oh please." She rolled her eyes again. Her own had adjusted to the darkness enough that she assumed he could see her now. "You act weird when I basically say I want to be your friend, and now you're the one who isn't needed or wanted?" She took a sip of her drink (vodka on the rocks, if anyone was wondering). It was probably a bad idea for her to keep sipping on it though. She really didn't need anymore liquid courage, as the words that were about to tumble out of her mouth were probably not ones she necessarily wanted him to know. "I was pretty fucking embarrassed, you know."
