Who: Sumi(astral), Open What: Walk in the park When: Friday Night Where: Central Park
Sumi had taken on a lot this semester. She had taken so much that she was too tired to go out and have a good time on a Friday night. Luckily, she had finished most of her work before nodding off with a book for a pillow. That meant that the weekend would be free to go out and see a show or something, but at the moment, her body rested while her mind flew away from her body. She had wanted to go skating in the park earlier, so naturally, she found herself at the skate rink in the park. She was still wearing the same clothes she fell asleep in. Nothing fancy, simply a pair of bluejeans and a long-sleeved mist colored sweater.
She began moving around as though she had skates on, even though she didn't, but the night allowed her to not look too strange as she did this. Her mind moved her astral body in a flowing motion as though she actually were wearing skates. This furthered the allusion to her, as well as anyone that may see her. A smile came to her face as she flew across the ice gracefully. Things could only be better if she were actually there, but that would have to wait until tomorrow. For tonight, this would do. A fantastic dream really. Thoughts of recent disappointments left her, whether they be of some cowboy or a report that she thought she might have gotten a B on.
She glided to the edge of the rink to rest for a minute. Well, not so much rest since she couldn't actually get tired in this form. It was more that she just wanted to stop and watch for a while. She was always so amazed by how real dreams like this were. She watched some of the couples skating around. She watched a couple of people who looked as though they were practicing to be figure skaters. It was all so beautiful. She only wished she could actually be there.
