And surprisingly, it was only a recent development. Well, at least the part where he actually was about to partake in theater. He'd seen plenty of shows growing up, but being in one was new. He certainly had the flair for the dramatic, however. It was a wonder he hadn't gotten into it sooner.
After she'd finished her speech, the only thing he could think of to say was, "Oh." Especially after she threw in that last bit. How was he supposed to take that?
"Um. Okay." He added, feeling that 'oh' was a less than satisfactory response, not that 'um' or 'okay' were much better, but it was quantity he was going for, not quality. "Um. I think the next stop is ours."
