She mimicked his sigh. Was he playing a martyr now? Good grief did it ever end with his dramatics? She could definitely tell he was into theater, that was for sure.
"Just because I did it to prove you wrong doesn't mean it was your fault or that I blame you. So relax about feeling responsible, okay? It's over anyways. My eye is back to its normal gorgeous self, in part thanks to you." She nodded her head in thanks. "And now I've been proven wrong. The subway is not dirty-- well, as dirty as I'd imagined. Nor is it full of bums." She shot him a grin then turned away from him. During the next part, she didn't want him to see her face.
"But that doesn't mean you have to leave me alone."
