Who: Zarita and Open What: Drinking on New Year's Eve When: New Year's Eve to New Year's Day Where: On the Rocks Rating: TBD
Zarita unfortunately had not made many friends during her time in New York, so she was not all that up for the whole party scene; however, she forced herself to go out anyways. She figured she would just go get a few drinks possibly come up with a plan for something fun to do. She had been considering pulling a heist for a a month now but was choosing not to just on the off chance she would have to leave town afterwards. She didn't want to leave just yet, but it was getting a bit boring lately. She was used to a life of travel, mystery, and false romance. The romance was false for the reason that it was usually the mark who fell in love with her, never the other way around. The only reason she had stayed in New York as long as she had was because of school. The more respectable you are, the more doors tend to open for you. Becoming an expert in art just seemed like a remarkable idea for an art thief. Even her father supported the idea and had advised her to walk the straight and narrow until she finished up. Perhaps the reason for her mood was simply loneliness. She never had need to form bonds with anyone other than her father and a few people they worked with.
She chose to wear a long tan cashmere sweater dress tonight with a pair of dark brown leather boots that matched her hair. She wasn't too concerned with the cold, for she was not planning on walking anywhere except through the shadows in her closet which transported her to the powder room of one of the bars nearby. There were only a couple of other women and neither of them noticed anything, so she simply left the room and headed for the bar. She found a spot that offered a bit of space for her to be able to begin the night alone. There were many reasons as to why this was her tactic for the start of the night, but her main reason was just because she was still trying to convince herself to be social. Get herself out of this mood. "Sangria por favor," she told the person behind the bar.
