Something was up. He could tell because this conversation lacked sarcasm. Aaron found it strangely disappointing. It was unlikely that he'd ever admit it, but he sort of liked arguing... With her, in particular. It wasn't a secret that he liked to argue. He argued with his teachers when he disagreed or got bored, but it was mostly out of boredom, or due to being egged on by others. This was different. He had no reason to argue with Rielle, except that she'd gotten under his skin, and he wasn't sure when he'd let his guard down long enough to let her.
