Her head turned before she could stop herself. She'd recognized his voice, God help her, and knew she was only in for a rough conversation. But now, she'd acknowledged his presence, so she was going to have to make the best of it.
"Obviously," came her reply, as she squinted at him through the dark lenses of her glasses. "I wouldn't expect anything of quality to be in here. I'm not looking for that." She turned back to the drawer and continued to rifle through. Because she'd never had to wear something super heavy, she had no real idea what she was looking for. Plus, most of what she saw was not going to match her skin tone.
"Why are you here, anyways? Looking for something to improve your look?" She asked, over her shoulder.
